What are the benefits of RITHS Qualifications?

 Financial Benefits: if you want to study in UK for the entire B.Eng. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree program, you have to pay minimum £ 10000 every year to the University plus your food and accommodation charges of £9600 per year. So to complete a bachelor degree from UK, you required to pay minimum £30000 on tuition fees and £ 28800 on living expenses.

With RITHS Qualifications, you can enter direct final year of your degree program and need only to pay one year tuition fee and one year living expenses.  

 Academic: There is no guarantee that you are going to pass all subjects at the UK University on time. If you fail in some subjects, then you have to wait till next semester to give exams, then your living expenses in UK will go high.

With RITHS, you study in India and tuition fees are very low. If you fail, you can appear our On-demand exams and there no lose of time.

 Global Recognition: With a UK University degree, your qualification is recognized globally, anywhere in the World.  Indian degrees have limited recognition. For example: If you are a B.Tech graduate from India, you will not  permitted to do M.Eng.( Master of Engineering) in UK. You can do only MSc, because Indian B.Tech is considered equivalent to BSc in UK and not equivalent to B.Eng.

 RITHS Higher Diploma is recognized for direct final year entry in selected UK universities.

 RITHS Higher Diploma is accredited by Edexcel and with Edexcel BTEC HND, you can enter job market anywhere in the world, as the qualification is a recognized British Higher Diploma.

 

How do I study for the RITHS qualifications?

RITHS have 2 colleges in India, one in Trivandrum and the other in Bangalore. You can either register through one of these colleges.

Am I eligible for any Exemptions from the RITHS  Examinations?

If you hold a qualification from either another professional body or University which is very similar in content and level to the RITHS qualification you could qualify for an exemption from some of the RITHS Higher Diploma examination.  Please forward a copy of your qualification to the Registrar who will be able to advise you further.

Does RITHS offer Distance Learning?

No, not at the present time. Students can follow a self-study route using the RITHS syllabus, study manuals, recommended textbooks and questions and answers, which are available from the RITHS college.

If I want to study in the UK do I need to obtain a visa?

Yes, For further information and advice regarding entering the UK as a Student, applying for entry clearance ,and enquiry of up to date UK Student Visa policy and procedures please contact RITHS.

How often are RITHS examinations held?

Examinations are held at RITHS colleges 4 times a year in January, April, July and October. RITHS will not charge Examination fees for its' students.

For 'advanced standing students' from other universities as well as failed students can request for ' On demand Exams' ( Any time examinations). Contact Registrar for details.

On demand examinations are not free, you have to pay Rs.1000 per subject.

How many subjects can I sit at one examination session?

It is recommended that you sit for not more than ten subjects at any one-examination session. Subjects within each qualification can be taken in any order.

 

I studied 3 years B.Tech. /B.E from an Indian university but I have arrears, Can I get admission at RITHS and finish RITHS Higher Diploma in a single-sitting?

Yes, under 'Advanced Standing students' category. You are required to submit  original marks card from your present university and our academic staff members will do syllabus mapping. After mapping, they will inform you the subjects and you are required to pass RITHS exams. We accept academic credits from the following Indian Universities.

 

After obtaining RITHS Higher Diploma, can you assure Direct Final Year Entry at UK Universities?

Yes, RITHS Higher Diploma holders can enter direct final year at our partner UK universities only.

RITHS Free Services:  RITHS will provide you UK University admission service, advise on your UK Visa application, Airport Pick-up - once you reach UK, accommodation services - once you reach UK,  unlimited online academic support till you pass your UK degree.

 

Whether RITHS guarantee UK Student Visa?

No, we provide you free service and advises to file your visa application to the Embassy.

We are an educational institution and our limit of guarantee is only to the quality and recognition of our education, direct final year admission to our partner UK universities etc.

Till date all the RITHS Higher Diploma holders obtained UK Visa to progress to direct final year at UK Universities, but it is in no way a guarantee or assurance for future students. UK Visas are at the sole discretion of the British High Commission.

 
 

After obtaining RITHS Qualification, if I don't get Direct final year (Top-up) admission to the UK University, can I get Tuition fee refund?

Yes, but it may never happen.

 

Whether a RITHS Higher Diploma holder require IELTS to enter UK University?

Presently not required. RITHS Higher Diploma is taught in English and do contain English language subject. Edexcel HND, itself is a British qualification. IELTS is mandatory for the holders of qualifications other than British qualification.

 

Whether RITHS provide general admission services to UK Universities like agents?

No. We transfer only our students to our partner UK Universities.

 

Whether RITHS Qualifications are easy to pass?

Yes, if you are thorough with the subject. Our teaching methodology is different and interesting, it is primarily assignment based. You will feel great difference from the Indian way of teaching. RITHS have student based learning techniques, is the common learning principle of UK universities.
